One of the great tragedies of the environmental crisis is that we do not know about the transformative and healing power of sacred space. Come experience this divine space.
The Peacemakers Sanctuary continues to transform and grow. During my survey yesterday (video below) I discovered that a Geospiral had formed, as well as another Energy Vortex. The additional Energy Vortex was not a new formation, rather it is one that has been there for some time, but flickers, in that it loses its vibrancy and is no longer an Energy Vortex and then blossoms back.
I believe this Energy Vortex flickers because it is close to one of the entry ways and interacts, and merges with, almost everyone that enters this holy place. The fact that this Energy Vortex was rekindled tells me that good people, maybe even on the path, have been the main visitors of late. Clearly the space has been uplifted by the presence of good people, as well as, by prayers and meditations.
An Energy Vortex is starting to form above the new Geospiral that has formed.
Vibe--The vibe was very positive to extremely positive. So the Fields of Consciousness(FOC) were in peak form.
Energy Vortices--There were 5 Energy Vortices.
Geospirals/Spirals--There were 7 Geospirals.
Thin Veil--I could not dowse it out, but it is there.
Conditions--Some ice on the other side of the far bench. No wet areas otherwise. ALWAYS CHECK WATER LEVELS BEFORE VISITING. LINK ON THE UPPER RIGHT.
Although the windchill was in the low teens yesterday this is a great time of the year to visit because you may well have to whole place to yourself and not have to share the bounty of consciousness with others. Make sure to bring plenty of water to drink, and something to eat to help ground you if necessary. The powerful Fields of Consciousness combined with the fantastic vibe can foster powerful mystical experiences, epiphanies, cathartic experiences and altered states of consciousness. So grounding may be required.
Sadly, cold and snow are not conducive to experiencing healing Energies in the Earth and Geospirals. If you have a physical ailment sit on the ground or place your hand on the ground. Many Earth Energies and Geospirals straddle the surface of Earth at ground level and will penetrate your glove andor clothing and will come in contact with your physical body.

A visit and survey done today found this divine space has not lost a beat. I had been expecting to find a regression from summer traffic--no. One Energy Vortex needed some strengthening but that was it. The vibe was still very positive to extremely positive. Very nice.
A new Geospiral has formed--we now have 6 Geospirals. What a blessing. If you have any physical ailment I encourage you to visit while the weather is still warm and plant yourself on the ground anywhere around the bench closest to the entry way. Anywhere within 10 feet is fine. Have some bare skin--hand, leg, foot--touching the ground. It does not have to be a large area of bare skin in contact with the Earth.
GEOSPIRALS ARE INCREDIBLY THERAPEUTIC AND HEALING. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS GIFT AND HELP HEAL YOUR BODY.
With a water level at 363.4 feet, above the average of 363, there were no impact only faint traces of dampness on the other side of the far bench.

Thin Veil--A stronger formation, but formation is still not clear.
We have a yellow flag problem. All the rain this summer has gotten this invasive species to proliferate like crazy.

A survey done on June 15, 2023 found the Peacemaker's Sanctuary to be in excellent condition. There was a damp area by the far bench, but that is expected given we had several days of rain. Parts of the sanctuary can be flooded so check water levels (link on the upper right), or call the park office and ask if areas like Willow Bay (a good proxy) are flooded. 363 feet is the average water level, at 364.5 feet you will have sections of the lakeshore flooded.
Vibe--The vibe was very positive to extremely positive.
Energy Vortices--There were 4 Energy Vortices.
Geospirals/Spirals--There were 5 Geospirals.
Thin Veil--Yes, but no clear formation was found.

The Peacemakers Sanctuary is a powerful place that can nourish your soul, help heal you physically and mentally/emotionally, give you a mystical experience, provide insights/epiphanies, answer your questions and much more. That sounds like a lot, we'll explain. Please be aware highway noise can be loud at rush hour, particularly since the backdrop of reeds were removed by the county this Spring.
First, bring plenty of water when you visit and some food to eat; preferably root vegetables, to help ground you if needed. Check with your doctor before visiting--there are powerful Earth Energies located here. There is a good chance you will get blissed out to some degree.Make sure you are safe to drive.
Like much of Onondaga Lake the Peacemaker's Sanctuary is subjected to flooding in the Spring and at other times. Check water levels on the link on the upper right. 363 feet is average height, at 364.5 feet parts of the lake may show flooding.
Please be respectful of others when visiting, limit or don't use your cell phone, as cell signals (RF Radiation) negatively impacts the Earth Energies at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary.
Nourish Your Soul--Raise Your Consciousness
Located at the Peacemakers Sanctuary is a feature of Mother Earth's Hidden Body (Subtle Body) in the Unseen world we call Field's of Consciousness (FOC). This is not an Earth Energy in the traditional sense, it is consciousness.
In some older perspectives it was believed that the Earth consisted of "matter" and "spirit." Fields of consciousness are pure spirit, arguably divine consciousness. Just about all of the Peacemaker's sanctuary is covered with FOC. Meaning you will be coming in contact with them while there. They will have an influence upon you--how much is difficult to determine.
We do know that people that lived over, or close to FOC, were great souls that advanced causes in liberty, democracy, spirituality and more. People like Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Fredrick Douglass, Elizabeth Cody Stanton..
Heal You Physically
There are numerous Geospirals/Spirals located throughout the Peacemaker's Sanctuary. Geospirals/Spirals are basically Energy Vortexes in the Earth pulling in a variety of Earth Energies. Like any Vortex they are extremely powerful and loaded with Earth Energies.
Research from the Earthing Institute shows that being in physical content with the Earth by walking barefoot is very therapeutic. At the Peacemaker's Sanctuary you will be doing so in powerful Geospiral's
To get the healing benefit of the Earth you need to have your bare skin, or only a layer of clothing separating your skin from the Earth, in contact with the Earth. You can walk barefoot, sit on the ground, or have a section of a body part that is bare in contact with the Earth

Epiphanies, Answers,Revelations, Resolutions
Powerful land memories, also called imprints or spiritual imprints, cling to the land at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary. Every time we think or do something at a location it creates an imprint. Over time, the continual thinking or undertaking the same action fortifies and makes an imprint stronger. In the process, thinking the same thing becomes stronger--more profound, deeper and intense.
People have been coming to the Peacemaker's Sanctuary for the last twenty years plus. Before that the Haudenosaunee have been praying and doing ceremony at Onondaga Lake for centuries. This is where the great Haudenosaunee prophet, the Peacemaker, planted the Tree of Peace and gave them the Great Law of Peace which served as a model for American democracy.
You may well tap into a particular imprint that gives you a mystical experience---you may have a vision; you may have an epiphany, or garner a great insight; you find resolution to a trouble or problem that has been bothering you; you may get an answer to a question you have; you may get healing for an old emotional wound; and much more.
Energy Vortexes
Energy Vortices are a whirlwind of Energy that enhances everything. They are rightfully revered in many circles because they can make a spiritual experience better. They are a measure that says this place is sacred. They are also rare.
There are usually several Energy Vortices located at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary. "Usually" because the number of Energy Vortices found at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary can vary from none, to several. that is because Energy Vortices interact with everything they come in contact with. They are negatively impacted by electronics such as cell phone signals (RF radiation) and negative thinking and behavior.

A Thin Veil
The Energy Vortices and Geospirals at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary are a testament to its sacredness and its power to heal, transform and give you mystical experiences. Energy Vortices and Spirals form in response to prayer, mediation and acts of kindness,/ove and giving. They are testament that good things have happened somewhere.
Vortices and Spirals also enhance a particular space. They make aspects of our Mother, such as Fields of Consciousness, more potent. Because of this the affects of a FOC are improved and strengthened, as are the land memories located at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary. All of which mean a more enhanced experience.
Over time as the affects of positive loving thoughts, actions and prayers and meditations build at an area the veil may begin to thin. Meaning the veil separating our world to alternative realities begins to thin--opening host of opportunities to experience the divine.
We have seen a formation we believe represents a Thin Veil appear at times at the Peacemaker's Sancatury. Its appearance is fleeting. However, the possibility connecting with those other worlds is still pretty high.
Thin Veils, Energy Vortices and Geospirals are constantly influenced by the consciousness and intentions/actions of the people they come in contact with. Which usually means they wane and get weaker and may even disappear. Because of this we go to the Peacemaker's Sanctuary every few months to strengthen and fortify the divine gifts Mother Earth has blessed us with.
I-90 Thruway--Exit 39, Take 690 East I-81--Take 690 West From 690- Take exit 5 (Van Vleck-State Fair Blvd.) Turn left onto State Fair Blvd going towards Lakeland (turn right if you are coming from 690 East.) About a 1/2 mile down take a left onto Beach Str. (an Empower bank is on the right.) Continue till end, turn left and park car on Iona street. Corner of Beach and Iona Streets in Lakeland Cross the RR tracks and walk over the foot bridge (over Route 690) and take a left. From the foot bridge it is about 150-200 yards to the Sanctuary. The cinder path will connect with a paved path, bear left. About 120-200 feet on your right you will see a clearing with a bench and an overflow duct that gives the appearance of a stream. Total time 6-8 minutes from parking. Or take the long way, a 20-30 minute walk from parking lot for the John Haley Memorial trial- across from Long Branch Park. Look for a bench that says "Peacemaker's Sanctuary."
